Yarn Projects | Birthday Decorations

Today, I had some spare time after work, so I decided to work on a few birthday projects. After putting it off for about a week, I finally finished Julia's Birthday Yarn Wreath, and I also started on some of the table decorations (Yarn Bottles).

These projects are so easy anyone can do them!

Matching Headband | Birthday Fabric Tutu

As promised, here are photos of the matching headband to Julia's birthday fabric tutu I posted a few days ago. It was so much fun to make! Once I got the hang of making the rosettes, it was actually fairly easy to do! I simply used left over fabric from her tutu, pre-made stretchy headband ribbon, hot glue, and some pearls.

She wanted to join in on the fun, so I decided to let her model it for me. It is her headband after all!

Have a great day!

Birthday Fabric Tutu

If anyone knows me, they know that I love Pinterest. Maybe a little too much, but I just can't help it when I get into a "crafty mood." :)

I am currently in the process of planning my daughter's 1st birthday, which is quickly approaching! 19 DAYS! Yikes! I have a lot of work to get done between now and then! It is so much fun though!

Today, I finished her "fabric tutu" that she will wear the day of her party, and I would like to share a little peek of it with you! It was such an EASY project that anyone can do! All you need is about 4-5 different fabrics, elastic, scissors, and thread!

Here are a few photos for your viewing!

It's Apple Pickin' Time

Yesterday, we went to BJ Reece Apple Orchards in Ellijay to have a family fun day picking apples! Autumn is definitely my favorite season, so it's kind of a "big thing" in our house. Well, I guess I make it that way anyways. Haha!

The Lord blessed us with a beautiful day to pick apples, and the harvest was plentiful!
There were more apples than we knew what to do with!
We were very impressed with how well the owners kept up with the property!

To be completely honest, Julia was definitely more interested in the leaves than she was the apples. Silly girl. :)

Do not be deceived. She was actually trying to pick the leaves off the tree...not the apples.

Kind of crazy, but, yes, Mommy actually got on the other side of the camera for once! Daddy insisted. :)

If you want to do something fun for the fall season, I highly recommend taking your family to an apple orchard! It can be a little pricey for a peck of apples, but it is so worth the fun, quality time you get to spend with your loved ones!

I hope you had a blessed weekend!
