I can't believe my baby boy is already a week and 2 days old! Time flies when you have children! They change so quickly in those first few weeks, but it is so exciting to watch as they grow and learn!

Welcome Baby Elijah

Tuesday, July 22, 2014 was a very special day for our family. After 9 months of waiting, we finally welcomed our son, Elijah Scott Stanland into the world. It felt like the day would never come, and I would be pregnant forever, but waiting was so worth it. There is nothing more sweeter than seeing your child for the first time.

Welcome baby Elijah. Mommy, Daddy, and Big Sister Julia love you more than you know.

Baby Elijah's "Rustic Fishing" Nursery

This 4th of July weekend, Jason and I (along with his mom & dad) had the opportunity to complete our baby boy's nursery before his arrival. For those who know my husband, he LOVES to fish, so it was only appropriate that our son's nursery be decked out in all of his old fishing lures, poles, signs, etc.

I could not be more happier with how it turned out! I absolutely love it (and I don't even fish!).
