I absolutely love this time of the year. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I love all the festivities, the colors, the lights, the sounds, the music, the desserts (a lot more than I should), and I love taking photos of families surrounded by beautiful Christmas trees. This little Christmas tree stand was the perfect spot for capturing some of the sweetest photos this holiday season!
I have been so blessed to know Jon, Susan and their sweet babies since we first moved here. It has also been my privilege to take photos for them twice now, and they just keep getting cuter! Thank you so much Susan for choosing me as your photographer, especially for this special Christmas session with you and the kiddos. Enjoy!

The Brown Family | Little Red Door & City Hall | Green Cove Springs, FL
It was such a pleasure to work with this precious family a couple of weeks ago. Sweet Grant and Annabeth were so fun and playful! Nothing like fruit snacks and a little bit of peek-a-boo to get littles one excited to take a picture! They were definitely giving me some good practice on how to capture quick shots that only last a second.
I haven't really explored Green Cove much since we moved here, but that little red door could not have been a more perfect backdrop for this fall session. The colors, the greenery, everything was just right! And, who knew that a City Hall building could be so gorgeous as well?!
Justin & Melinda, I hope you enjoy your photos! Thank you again for choosing me as your photographer! You have a beautiful family!

Julia & Elijah | Pumpkin Patch Fun | River of Life United Methodist Church | Fruit Cove, FL
Fall is absolutely one of my favorite seasons of the year. The color changes, the cool weather, the yummy treats, and pumpkin patches everywhere! Unfortunately, living in Florida autumn hardly exists, but the holiday festivities make it feel a little more like fall. This year we are spending our first autumn here in Fruit Cove, and as I was driving down the road the other day, I passed by the cutest little pumpkin patch at the River of Life Methodist Church. It was perfect for little ones - away from the road, fenced in, wagons, playground, and so many different pumpkins to choose from! We will definitely make this our new family tradition!
I have to admit, Julia & Eli were not very interested in the pumpkins this year. The playground had all their attention. In their defense, it was a pretty fun playground. Whenever Jason and I could grab their attention for a few seconds, we would walk around and look at all the different shapes, colors, and unique features about each pumpkin. In their eyes, there was no "bad" pumpkin in the patch. They were all the "perfect" pumpkin. It was so sweet to think that they would have been happy with the pumpkin that has the most flaws - brown spots, bruises, holes, bumps, and all. For a moment, my children reminded me that no matter how flawed we come to the cross with our bumps, bruises, and scars, Jesus takes us just as we are. By His blood shed on the cross, He paid our price and washed us clean of our guilt and shame. He welcomes all who will come to Him!
