Meredith's "Little Darling One" 1st Birthday | Fruit Cove, FL

Wow. She's one.
It came, and it went.
I officially have a toddler.
I can't handle this.
Mama needs her to stay little forever!
Hang on while I go cry for a minute.

Okay. I'm done. For now...

Baby girl was so sick during her party,
but she was such a trooper!
Her party was the cutest, ever.
I simplified everything....and for this Mama...that's impressive.
I was proud of myself.

All we needed were some carnations from Trader Joes, $1 decorations from the dollar bin at Target, Grandmom's table linens, and a simple meal - inexpensive, super cute, simplistic first birthday. It was perfect (almost). The weather could have been just a little nicer for us. But, overall, she won't remember it for one, and we did our best!

Also, it's really hard to be Mom, Hostess, & Photographer, so I apologize for the lack of photos!

*Thank you to all of our family & friends that helped set up, cook, tear down, but most importantly, love on our sweet girl. She certainly does not lack for hugs and kisses on a daily basis.

Meredith Anne | 11 Months Old

I can't believe it. This is the last monthly update until she turns ONE. (I totally forgot to do a 10 month update...I still got a photo though!)

11 months.
11 months of watching her grow.
11 months of watching her learn new things.
11 months of absolute beauty & joy in one little person.

Weight: about 20lbs

• At this point, she would rather be standing than sitting. She isn't brave enough to let go of whatever she is holding, but I don't think it will be long.
• She crawls pretty fast...gracefully, not so much.
• She eats everything. Literally...everything in sight that she can put her hands on. From a toy to the smallest crumb or piece of dirt. EVERYTHING.
• She loves "tickle-time" with Daddy and being tipped upside down.
• She has become more interactive with Julia & Eli (they love it & hate it!)
• Her newest words have been "Nana," "Night Night," & "Hey."
• She had her first ear infection & round of antibiotics (Record for any kid in our house!)
• She still loves her passy & her bottle. (Pray for us next month when we have to break her from it).
• She doesn't like sippy cups.

Meredith Anne, we love you more than you know! Though I want you to stay a baby forever, I'm excited to watch you grow!
