The past month has definitely been a crazy, exciting one for our family. A little over three weeks ago, our family made the big move to Fruit Cove, FL where my husband was called as Middle School Minister to Fruit Cove Baptist Church. With this move, I have been given the opportunity to be a stay-at-home Mommy. This is ministry the Lord has given to me in this season of life, and I am loving every moment. Some days have proved to be more difficult than others...like the days my oldest refuses to nap, or the screaming...oh the screaming, or when the youngest thinks it is funny to throw sister's toys in the toilet. No matter the struggles that come with being a Mommy, I wouldn't trade it for the world. I am thankful for each day that I get to be a homemaker for my family, give them my full attention and love, provide them with a peaceful home, and teach them that in everything we do, we should give glory to Jesus. (Not that I am perfect by any means, but my desire is to grow and become the Mommy they need me to be!)
One thing that staying home has provided me with is...TIME. I now have the time to get back into the things I enjoy most. One of them being my photography. There is something about getting my camera, and seeing the world through a different perspective: capturing the important moments, the details, the things you never want to forget. Oh, how I have missed it! I am blessed to use this talent as a ministry to serve the Lord!
Today was a special day. I was able to get some updates of my babies. The "famous" flower field was in bloom, and it was absolutely stunning. The flowers were vivid with color, and the weather was perfect. The kids had such a good time picking the flowers for their Nana, and every once in a while they would bring me one say "For you Mommy!" It was a sweet time for us. I am so incredibly thankful for these moments. I am also thankful to live closer to family because we were able to spend lunch with Nana & Papa before we headed home for nap time!
I hope you can enjoy these as much I do!
